ITINERARY:
  • Day 1: Guwahati - Nameri (220 km - 5 hr approx.) / Arrival
    On arrival at Guwahati Airport, proceed towards Nameri National Park (open from 1st Nov to 30th April). Upon arrival check in to Nameri Eco Camp. Overnight in the hotel Camp. Nameri National Park is located on the banks of the river Jia Bhorali on the northern side of the Brahmaputra. Situated on the foothills of the great Himalayas, it is another tiger and bison country. It is also famous for its sizeable population of the very rare White-winged Wood Duck. Birding is done while trekking inside the Reserve or while rafting (optional) down the Jia Bhorali River.   • Day 2 - Full day birding / jungle walk
    Today enjoy full day birding / jungle walk at Nameri National Park. Overnight in the camp/hotel/Resort
  • Day 3 - Nameri - Kaziranga (115 km - 3 hr approx.)
    Proceed towards Kaziranga. Later in afternoon go for a Jeep Safari. Stay overnight at the hotel. Kaziranga National Park(open from 1st Nov to 30th April). - is a World Heritage Site, where more than 75% of the world’s total population of the great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros can be found. It lies on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River and is one of the oldest parks of Assam. Besides rhinos, the Asiatic Water Buffalo, Elephants, Tigers, Swamp deer, Barking deer and Hog deer can be seen. About 400 species of birds are found in Kaziranga National Park. Overnight in the hotel/Resort
  • Day 4 - Morning and afternoon safari
    Early morning go for an elephant safari followed by jeep safari. Afternoon go for another game drive. Overnight in the hotel/Resort.
  • Day 5 - Kaziranga - Tinsukia (260 km - 6 hr approx.)
    After breakfast, proceed towards Tinsukia. En-route we visit the Ahom monuments and temples at Sivasagar which encompass the 600 year old history of the Ahom Dynasty. Overnight in the hotel/Resort.
  • Day 6 - Excursion to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park and Magori Bheel
    Early morning you will visit Dibru-Saikhowa National Park and Magori Bheel. Take boat rides (optional) on the Dibru River, go for jungle walk, bird and Gangetic Dolphin sighting. Overnight at the Bungalow. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park - The forest in this park ranges from semi-evergreen to deciduous to littoral to swampy marshes with patches of wet evergreen jungles Dibru-Saikhowa is a safe haven to many rare and endangered species of over 350 birds and is a must visit site for target-list birders. Overnight in the hotel/Resort.
  • Day 6 - Tinsukia - Dibrugarh (50 km - 1.5 hr approx.) / Departure
    In time transfer to Dibrugarh airport to board flight for onward destination.
