Bharatpur is famous for the wonderful Unesco-listed Keoladeo National Park, a wetland and significant bird sanctuary. Apart from the park, Bharatpur also has a few historic vestiges worth visiting.

DAY BY DAY – DETAILED ITINERARY
You are picked up from the airport or your hotel in Delhi this morning (timing to be advised).
The drive, excluding stops, takes approx. 4 hrs.
Check in to your hotel and the evening is at leisure.

DAY 2 – BHARATPUR
Today, after breakfast spend time exploring the Keoladeo National Park.

The area is spread over a 29 kms space and was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 230 species of birds are known to have made the bird park their home. The sanctuary is one of the richest bird areas in the country and Asia. It is known for the nesting of its resident birds and the visiting migratory birds, including water birds. The rare Siberian cranes used to come to this park in the winter for breeding.

The sound of relaxing and soothing forest birds, green nature and fresh air is a great start to any day.

The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 3 – BHARATPUR – DELHI, DEPART
The tour comes to an end today.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Delhi, approx. 4 hrs. drive excluding stops. In Delhi, transfer either the airport for the next leg of your onward journey or proceed to be dropped off at your Delhi city hotel.
